Corporate Immigration

Immigration

Over the past seventeen years in business we have developed an approach to providing immigration services that is based on the following principles:

One Point of Contact

Whenever we begin working with a company we identify the VRV staff member who will be primarily responsible to handle the day to day work of the client. This enables our staff to develop a close working relationship with our client and facilitates familiarity with the client's business.

Ethical Practices

VRV Global will not support an application in which information is misrepresented to immigration authorities. It is absolutely vital that companies maintain a positive reputation and relationship with all stakeholders in the immigration process and we strive to ensure that integrity is maintained throughout the process.

Communication

VRV Global understands that accurate and complete communication is central to the success of the immigration process. We strive to ensure that the government officials who adjudicate an application have a complete set of supporting documents and application forms that meet the requirements of the policies and legislation that they enforce. This philosophy grew out of Herman Van Reekum's experience as an immigration officer.

Based on these principles, our approach normally follows these steps:

STEP 1 - The Consultation

When a client contacts VRV Global with their immigration concerns, we begin by assessing their unique situation and jointly developing a solution. Our staff ask the necessary questions to correctly diagnose the situation. Each consultation typically ends with an email to the client which outlines the process that will be followed, the steps that need to be taken, and the supporting documents and information that our staff will need to complete the application.

STEP 2 - Preparing the Employer Application

VRV Global completes all forms and provides the appropriate government office with all forms and supporting documents.

Other examples of supporting documents that may be required for certain applications are letters from trade unions to concur with the application and letters from organizations such as APEGGA. Wherever possible, we assist in obtaining these letters. In the case of low skilled workers, VRV Global assists the client in developing a contract that meets the client's requirements and which is acceptable to the Government of Canada.

STEP 3 - Preparing the Work Permit Application

VRV Global provides a complete application package for each foreign worker. To ensure timeliness in the processing wherever possible we begin completing the work permit applications in advance of receiving LMO approval. We research the requirements of each candidate's unique circumstances and we prepare documentation accordingly. With each application we include full instructions to the applicant so that they know what to expect when they apply for a work permit and will be able to answer questions. We recognize that every immigration case is unique and we ensure that all government requirements for each situation are met. In the rare circumstance that an individual has problems obtaining a work permit our staff are on call "24/7" to answer any questions and to facilitate communication with immigration officers.

VRV Global has broad experience and good relationships with many immigration offices around the world.

STEP 4 - The Follow-Up

We always ask our clients to send us copies of work permits once they are issued. This information is used to maintain a detailed database in order to track renewals as well as to provide updates on any relevant immigration policy changes. We also offer ongoing support to the foreign workers such as dealing with accompanying family members and advising on changes to terms and conditions of their employment.
