Herman Van Reekum is a leading immigration professional and businessman with more than 20 years immigration experience. Mr. Van Reekum worked as an immigration officer, supervisor and acting manager with Citizenship and Immigration Canada from 1986 to 1993. He left government service in 1993 to form VRV Global Ltd. VRV Global Ltd. is one of Canada's largest immigration firms specializing in corporate immigration services, foreign worker recruiting and relocation. VRV Global clients include Imperial Oil/Exxon, Chevron, Talisman, StatoilHydro Canada, Canadian Pacific Railway, Dow Chemical, Precision Drilling, H&R Transport Ltd. and many more.
Mr. Van Reekum has written articles on foreign worker recruitment for the Petroleum Human Resources Council and the Canadian Federation of Independent Business. He also frequently speaks on immigration topics to various organizations including The Energy Council of Canada, The Petroleum Services Association of Canada and the Canadian Employee Relocation Council. Mr. Van Reekum has a B.A. and M.A. in Political Science from the University of Calgary. |
